Our Green Schools have been working hard over the past number of years to make Our Lady of Lourdes a more enviromentally friendly place. We have recently recieved our gren flag for Transport. Our next aim is to achieve a flag for Biodiversity.

Biodiversity is the variety of plant and animal life in the world or in a a particular place. Biodiversity supports life. It is the variety of all life forms on Earth, from tiny bugs living in soil to the butterflies in your garden, the plants they feed from, and the biggest whales in the sea.
