On Friday the 18th of May the Green School Committee organised a walk to school day to promote a reduction of cars on our roads and to have a positive impact on pollution. It was also great to see the children getting extra exercise and enjoying walking in the good weather. There was rewards and raffle tickets for people who walked to school. One lucky child was the winner of the raffle and they received a brand new scooter. The Lord Mayor of Limerick visited the event and was very pleased with the efforts of the children. Well done to all involved.
